Local Education Authorities

Numberfit was founded in 2010 and began its journey to increase mathematical attainment and engagement for children across the ability spectrum. With immediate success, Numberfit was commissioned by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham’s (LBHF) Local Education Authority (LEA) to pilot the scheme in schools as part of their numeracy programme.

With numerous issues currently surrounding education in the UK and in particular mathematics (numeracy) Numberfit is the answer to raising attainment and engagement for your local students.

Whilst we are sure your Local Government and Local Authorities are investing lots of time, money and effort into education; it is apparent we still have a duty to help raise standards further for our communities, for education and for future employment.

We are looking to build our network with LEAs and allow schools from other areas to discover the mathematical success that comes from making the subject engaging. We work across EYFS, KS1, KS2 and KS3 and for full details click here.

The Local Authority found Numberfit to be highly professional in presentation and delivery of the programme, actively seeking feedback to improve that delivery and find new ways of capturing the agreed outcomes. Facilitators were enthusiastic, built great relationships with pupils and adapted sessions to meet the needs of their groups. The engagement with and understanding of Maths in their target pupils was reported as having greatly improved and the impact on their learning and achievement was measured as more than expected sub levels of progress across the period of the programme.
We have no hesitation in recommending Numberfit to other schools
